A friend and myself have been trying to get through some of the literature here as well.

I can't say it has always gone terribly well.
Though there has been the occasional bit of mythos that has come to pass in things such as the festival the other month, with the story of the dragons and the gardens.

Ah, no. Nothing like that. I'm- sort of wishing everything wasn't quite so... erotic. Mainly trying to read up on any history and science and mythology I can find.

It isn't the greatest selection, I will admit. I just need to learn as much as I can.

You're not alone in that, honest.
As well as the particular interests; Vergil in particular had been hunting for details of this place, but the mythology and technological advances interested me further.

I wonder if I don't have anything you've not found, yet; shall we arrange a trade?

They definitely seem to have some fascinating technology. I'd be interested to find out how much of it is purely technological and how much magical.

I'd be happy to share my notes. It's always a good idea to spread the knowledge. I've been kept in the dark on things before and it's- it's irritating.

Many of the other scientific and tinkering sorts here have wondered the same; I'm interested to know, as well.

But note-sharing sounds excellent, and I'll bring some of the books I've found that touch on the mythology of this place. Most of it is fiction, but history has a way of weaving its way into literature even when it seems off-topic. We'll be sure to cast that light out.

That's true. Mythology reflects a lot about the culture that wrote it, and hopefully there'll be something useful in it for when it comes to history.

[And for himself of course, he hopes to find references to any occurrences of the Powers that he is familiar with.]

That has been our hope, in branching out from typical non-fiction books. It doesn't always pan out of course, but it never hurts. We have little else here to do.

I do have a favorite cafe right off from the plaza; you can see it from the water fountain with the crystal tree centerpiece, with the white sun umbrellas on the patio. Let's say 1530?
